Minimum Hire Charges
All BrizPlant machines, trucks and attachments are supplied on a wet hire basis unless agreed otherwise in writing. Minimum hire charges apply to all machinery, trucks, attachments and operators. Minimum hire periods are shown with the relevant machine or service rate. Attachments have a 1 hour minimum hire.
Penalty Rates (After hours work)
- Public Holidays & Sundays will incur an additional charge of $35 + GST per hour. There is also an 8hr minimum hire charge.
- For work starting from 6pm through to 5am Monday to Saturday, an additional charge of $35 + GST per hour will apply. There is also an 8hr minimum hire charge.
Wear & tear of auger / bucket teeth, cutting edges or attachments may attract a replacement or repair charge if wear is excessive.
Rock Augers incur an extra $20 + GST per hour on top of the Post Hole Borer Rate.
Machines sourced from other suppliers or subcontractors may incur different rates.
Long Term Hire may be priced by agreement where guaranteed hire periods are confirmed in writing.

Tip fees, disposal charges, waste tracking, tolls and related costs are charged to the client where incurred. Any tipping using a BrizPlant account must be approved before tipping. The client must advise BrizPlant of any asbestos, contaminated material or special disposal requirements before works commence.
All rates are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise and may change unless confirmed in writing by BrizPlant. Billing time is worked out in 15-minute increments after the minimum hire period.
Cancellations – Minimum Hire may be applicable if machinery is not cancelled 1 hour prior to commencement time, or 1.5hr if outside 30km from the Brisbane CBD. Wet weather cancellations are the client’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise. Failure to cancel within the required timeframe may incur a minimum hire charge.
Delivery Fee / Travel (except when a Float fee occurs).
- Within 30km radius from the Brisbane CBD = 1hr Travel
- Between 30km to 60km from the Brisbane CBD = 1.5hr Travel
- Over 60km = Price at time of booking.
Float – Double float, being float in and float out, is applicable to all jobs less than 3 full days unless agreed otherwise. Minimum full day hire is generally based on 8hr days. Float cancellation must be made 24 hours prior to scheduled job commencement. Failure to do so may incur the full float charge.
Carryover of machinery to the next day may incur half of the first day travel charge, except Trucks & Water Trucks which may have 1 hour travel every day. If the machine is signed off early, full travel may still be charged on the carryover. A full day is generally 8hrs including travel.
Toll charges apply when incurred travelling to & from tip sites, between jobs for the same customer on the same day, or during mobilisation and demobilisation.
COD Customers must supply valid payment details before works commence. Payment may be required daily, on completion, or as stated on the quote or invoice.
Work Dockets and Sign-Off – Signed work dockets, timesheets or job records may be used for invoicing. Signing a docket confirms the recorded time, plant, labour, travel and works are accepted as accurate. Any issue must be raised before signing.
Site Conditions – The client must provide safe and suitable site access. The client must advise BrizPlant of underground services, overhead services, soft ground, restricted access, asbestos, contaminated soil or other hazards before works commence. Delays, waiting time or additional costs caused by site conditions or client-controlled issues may be charged.
Licensing and Compliance – Where asbestos removal, asbestos-related works or regulated waste works are undertaken, BrizPlant will perform works in accordance with applicable Queensland requirements. BrizPlant holds Class A Asbestos Removal Licence No. 2333881.
BrizPlant Entity – In these Terms and Conditions, BrizPlant means BrizPlant & Equipment Sales Pty Ltd, ABN 89 660 915 248.
